“It started with a camping trip we almost didn't take.” Back in 2022, we were two broke students dreaming about escaping to Genting for a weekend. We wanted to camp, but one look at the gear prices and we were out. Too expensive for something we weren't even sure we'd love.

“So we borrowed our housemates' gear instead.” Best decision we ever made. We set up the tent, breathed in the fresh air, and completely fell in love with it. On the drive home, we looked at each other and said ''why isn't there an easier way for people to do this?''

“That question became TentForRent.” We started renting out our housemates' gear to other people facing the same problem. It was small, scrappy, and honestly a little chaotic but people loved it. Then life got busy. Studies, internships, work. We had to pause. But we never stopped thinking about it.

“Now we're back and we're doing it properly.” Armed with everything we've learned, we rebranded into JomCamp, not just a rental service, but we want to build our very own local Malaysian camping brand too! We aim to deliver gear designed for our weather, our terrain, and our people. Because Malaysia is too beautiful to miss out on!

“We've been that person. We built this for you.” Whether it's your first trip or your fiftieth. JomCamp exists to make sure the outdoors feels less like a hassle and more like the escape it's supposed to be.  Jom, let's go camping. 🏕️
